For offices operating five days a week in Punjab, the new schedule mandates work to commence at 10 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. Meanwhile, for those following a six-day work week, office hours will span from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
On Fridays, offices across Lahore and other parts of Punjab will operate from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Simultaneously, the Federal Government has also issued a notification, through the Cabinet Secretariat Establishment Division on March 8, 2024, specifying office timings during Ramadan 2024 for federal government offices.
For offices working five days a week, the designated hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, with a closing time of 12:30 p.m. on Fridays. For those on a six-day work week, the schedule is from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and Saturday, with a Friday closing time of 12:30 p.m.
