Pakistan won the T20 Women’s International series against South Africa. The national women’s team led the series 2-0 against South Africa’s women’s cricket team, who are visiting Pakistan for the first time. The third and final match of the series will be played on Monday.
In the match held under floodlights at the National Stadium in Karachi, the South African team set a target of 151 runs for Pakistan, losing only 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Tezman Britts scored 46 runs, Captain Laura added 41, and Clark contributed 21 runs.
Kip scored 26 runs, while Sidra Iqbal and Nashrah Sindhu each took a wicket. Pakistan achieved the target in 19.1 overs and won the series.
Sidra Amin performed well in the second match, scoring 61 runs off 44 balls with the help of six fours and a six. Alia Riaz remained unbeaten with 31 runs off 18 balls, hitting two fours and two sixes.
Muniba Ali also remained unbeaten, scoring 26 runs off 15 balls, which included two fours and a six. Ordelmi Tucker took one wicket.
