Honhaar Scholarship Program Phase 2: Helping Students in Punjab

The Honhaar Scholarship Program Phase 2 is a big plan to help students in Punjab get a better education. This program gives scholarships of PKR 120,000 per year to 30,000 students. It helps students from 65 universities, 12 medical and dental colleges, and 359 other colleges. The second phase of this program will start on December 4, 2024.

What is Honhaar Scholarship Program Phase 2?

The Chief Minister of Punjab started this program to support students who need financial help. This second phase will give scholarships to 2,570 students, including 1,660 girls and 637 students from minority groups.

In Lahore, 1,886 scholarships have already been distributed. The scholarships will pay for students’ tuition fees and reduce the money their families need to spend on education.

Who Can Apply for Honhaar Scholarship Program Phase 2?

To apply for this program, students must meet these conditions:

1. Live in Punjab and have a Punjab domicile.
2. Be 22 years old or younger.
3. Have a family income of less than PKR 300,000 per month.
4. Be enrolled in a college or university for the Fall 2024 session.

Minimum Marks Needed:

• Medical Colleges: At least 80% in F.Sc.
• Top Universities: At least 80% in F.Sc.
• Public Universities: At least 75% in Sciences and 70% in Arts.
• HED Colleges: At least 65% in Sciences and 60% in Arts.

2. Fill the Form: Add your personal, educational, and family details.

Applications for 2024 are now closed. The program will announce selected students through email and SMS after reviewing the forms.

What Does the Scholarship Cover?

The scholarship will pay for:

• Nishtar Medical University, Multan
